Inspiration
Art has always been a huge part of my life, I always use it to relax and make sense of my emotions by transferring them onto the page or canvas. Since lockdown I have re-kindled my passion with painting, realising that the grind of daily life needn't be hours and hours in windowless rooms, but painting the beauty that surrounds us. Lockdown gave me the space to reflect and re-prioritise life. I create different collections of paintings that capture the essence of the natural world. Landscapes and wildlife art pieces are my current focus, they're beautiful dramatic artworks which brighten up every day life.
I also create custom made pet portraits which came about after the passing of our family pet. They can be a beautiful way to remember our animals, or just to celebrate them as part of the family.
Capturing beautiful images through photography has also been a love of mine for many years, helped massively by growing up in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Finding beauty in my surroundings has not been a hard thing to achieve when exploring the UK and on many travels around the world. If I can share the joy that the outdoors and nature brings to me with just a few of you, I'll be very happy.
